Physics Safety Week 2006

Physics Safety Week took place during the week of February 2nd, 2026, with a focus on the theme of Ergonomics. LBNL ergonomics subject matter experts provided ergonomics evaluations across various office suites and labs. Over 40 individuals benefited and work more comfortably as a result.

The week was an opportunity to focus on workplace clean up and catching up on Work Planning and Control (WPC) required training.

The Physics Safety Committed conducted walkthroughs of the labs at the end of the week and awards were given for the Most Ergonomics Proactive group, Cleanest and Most Organized Lab Space and the Group with Best WPC Compliance.

Overall it was a great success!
